The mass production and distribution of plastic materials in the 1950s was one of the major achievements of mankind, that currently the human needs it as an important industry for many reasons like variety, inexpensive and availability. The environmental damage caused by fossil contaminants, the consumption of some communities and the release of them and the lack of knowledge after the end of their initial consumption period is irrational and in the medium and long time, there will be imposed heavy costs. In this research, the effect of the mixing of polymeric waste (UPVC) are reviewed in the two forms of fibers and grains and in various volumetric percentages (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10% for fiber form) and (0, 5, 10 and 15% for the grain form) in order to replace the sand in the construction of concrete and the experiments carried out such as compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, and fresh concrete tests, such as slump and concrete specific gravity. The ratio of water to cement was fixed (0.45) in all mixtures and the processing of 7 and 28-days of the samples was performed according to standard laboratory conditions. The results of this study indicate that the use of these wastes in concrete improves heat resistance and up to 5% for fiber form and up to 10% for grain form has a slight reduction in the mechanical properties and specific gravity of the concrete and it improves tensile and flexural strength.
